Working in these areas requires a special attention to bringing the voice of the public, customers, beneficiaries or other stakeholders into some unique cultures. Organisations are often fuelled by a visionary culture, looser organisational structures and a desire to leave a transformational mark on lives. Belief runs strong in both fields - a fuel that drives these organisations forward as much as (or often more than) financial impact or reward.
